Hospital In-Patient or Out-patient Negotiation Services

This plan helps you solve your medical bill problems & reduce your medical costs by negotiating with your hospital provider or Surgeon (if billed separately) for discounts on costs for services whether for hospital stays or out-patient charges. This service is designed to save you money and help you put frustrating problems with medical costs to rest.

Hospital & Surgeon Charges (In-patient or Out-Patient)

• Before services are rendered: You have an upcoming hospital procedure or stay. Maybe your insurance doesn’t cover everything, or you have no insurance at all and you’re going to be responsible for paying a large amount that you can’t afford. OR

• After services were rendered: Even though the plan was not notified in advance, they can still negotiate a reduced charge for you and under the same conditions as if you had notified them in advance.

The Process is as follows

Contact the program before, during, or immediately after scheduling the hospital stay or out-patient procedure. A Patient Financial Counselor will contact your healthcare provider and agree on a fee that is more affordable to you in exchange for prompt payment. They will confirm with you in writing the amount and terms before taking any action.

If the patient is credit worthy the plan can pay the bill in full and arrange with you for the payment of the discounted amount, along with an access fee. Keep in mind that there are no fees for having a review your bills. If you know that you have a hospital related procedure or stay coming up, it is in your best interest to see if we can save you money.

A small percentage of the time, the plan will not be able to negotiate a discount on your behalf. This is due to a variety of factors. However you do not have anything to lose by trying, since it costs nothing to have your medical bills reviewed.
